February 21st
Last night we held our Miller Trio competition. The judge was Chris Baldwin.
The winner of the Novice section was Nanjing Massacre by Paul Litter and the Open section was won by Di Norwood with Hell on Earth.

Next week, Monday, February 27th, we have Richard Cobby ARPS, CPAGB as our guest speaker with his presentation of ‘Imagination to Image Creation
Visitors and new Members are more than welcome to join us on Monday nights.
The evening starts at 7:45pm for an 8pm start
February 15th
Next Monday, February 20th, we have our Miller Trio competition where members can enter their group of three images in a single projected image. The judge on this occasion will be Chris Baldwin.
There are over 70 triple images entered, so should prove to be another great evening.
The following Monday, February 27th, we have Richard Cobby ARPS, CPAGB as our guest speaker with his presentation of ‘Imagination to Image Creation
February 12th
On Monday night (Feb 13th) we have Tony Winfield as our guest speaker to present his ‘Creative Photography’ talk.
Next Wednesday we have a company called ‘Going Digital’ coming to our Members Only Wednesday Workshop to show how to enhance our images.
The following Monday we have our Miller Trio competition where members can enter their group of three images in a single projected image. The judge on this occasion will be Chris Baldwin.
February 7th
Last night we held the first round of our Digital Image Competition, which was expertly judged by David Gibbins.
There were 110 entries over the two sections, Novice and Advanced.
The Winner of the Novice Section was Jo Littler with her image called Luxor.
The Advanced Section was won by Di Norwood with her image Smokin’ Hot Chili.
One up for the Ladies, winning both sections.

February 5th
Tomorrow night we have our Digital League Round 1 Competition, There are 110 entries, so our judge, David Gibbins should be spoilt for choice when deciding on the Winners.
January 27th
All of the Awards, Scores and Images for the first round of last Monday’s Print Competitions can now be seen on the Competition Results pages.
Next Monday (Jan 30th) we have Trevor Rudkin as a guest speaker. Trevor will show his ‘Put some Red in it’ presentation.
January 23rd
Tonight we held our first print competitions of the year.
Rosie Balcer won the Colour Print Novice section
Sylvia Adams won the Colour Print Open section
Ian Middleton won the Mono Print Novice section
Steve Hedlps won the Mono Print Open section

Next Monday (Jan 23th) we have our first round of our Colour and Mono Print League competitions. The Judge on this occasion is Keith Long ARPS. There will be 4 separate competitions, both colour and mono for our Novice photographers and both again as an Open competition for more experienced photographers.
January 17th
Last week we had Ann and Sylvia presenting some of their outstanding work. Iain presented a tutorial on how to re-size images for Projection competitions.
It was a great, light hearted evening enjoyed by all.
January 10th
Last night was our first Digital competition (The Festive Period) and was fiercely fought, but Di Norwood won the Open section with her ‘Festive Lights’ and Rosie Balcer won the Novices section with her ‘All Bright and Shiny’. January 5th 2012.
Next Monday (Jan 9th) we have our first Monday meeting of the year.
We start off with a one-off special Digital competition of images taken over the Xmas and New Year period.
The following Monday (Jan 15th) we have presentations from some of our Members.
On the same week, we have one of our Wednesday Workshops for Members Only. This week will be ‘Starting from Scratch with Image enhancement plus any other subject that the members wish to learn.
